5. Virgin Hot Mix Applied

New virgin hot mix is conveyed from the receiving hopper at the front of the Repaver to the 4-section vibratory paving screed at the rear of the Repaver. The 4-section vibratory paving screed lays the specified wearing course over the recycled layer.

6. Final Compaction

Conventional compaction completes the recycling process. Final compaction is achieved with the use of a double drum steel wheeled vibratory roller.
