Step 4. Recycled Material Mixed and Laid
Recycling Unit
A stainless steel moldboard gathers the scarified material and conveys it into a center windrow, mixing the recycling agent into the material as it is moved into a center windrow.
The windrow of recycled material is redistributed in front of a 4-section recycling screed that lays the material as a leveling course while it still has a residual temperature of at least 190 to 225 degrees F.
